Where’s The Leader?
I’ve purposefully left a period of reflection to work out what I think about Friday’s events at Loftus Road
Sheer Lunacy
After a miserable run of fixtures which produced only one point from eighteen, and with frustration growing significantly amongst Blues supporters, the club moved to address a potentially calamitous situation by relieving Mark Venus of his duties and installing Gary Rowett as interim manager until the end of the season.
Back To The Future
Blues went into the current international break above the relegation zone, but only on goal difference.
Some Hope
Ahead of arguably our biggest match of the season tonight (until the next one) I’ve been looking at the form table for the last 10 games.
Digging In
Ten crucial league games remain, with Middlesbrough at home on Tuesday evening igniting the touch paper for a very nervous period for Blues supporters.
Another Dogfight
The annual battle against relegation was a long way from my thoughts at the start of this season.
